Glasballon Lampe/ Ballon glas light

Lampen selbst bauen

(Bottle Light Set). Das dürfte dann auch besser halten!

Eine gute Anleitung dazu findet sich HIER

Ballon glas light

On Pinterest haunted the following picture around: KLICK to see!

Unfortunately I have not found a source to it and so only give the link to itinstead of posting it here!

I wanted to build such a lamp

Without instructions, I did the following:

1. Bought a glasballon at the flea marketOn Ebay, there are always some. But I was put off by the prices!

2. Using a glass drill (market) I slowly but surely drilled a hole into the glass near the bottomThe whole thing took a very long time (about 25 minand had to be cooled with waterHERE you can find my tips for drilling with diamon drills!

3. Now the power cable is pulled through the hole and out through the neck againThe end with the power plug must of course come out on the bottom of the lamp

4. The top end needs to be connected to the light socket, which sits above the bottle neck now.

5. Then I had bought a lamp shade ( at IKEA)My problemMy design above the bottle neck was very wobblyMy (imperfect) solution: I used the hot glue gun to glue everything in place! Not very nice and not very stablebut okay.

PSIf you want to make your life easierorder a Lamp Construction Set
in the USA which is specially designed for such projects with bottles(Bottle Light Set)!

  1. Coole Idee ! Wiederverwendbares steht an erster Stelle. Vielen Dank für die Inspiration.
